  • It's been a long time, but here we are again...

    Wow, it's been over 3 months since I last updated this blog. Okay, so April seems a lot longer than 3 months ago, but whatever. So wow, a lot has happened. I went down to St. Louis to start recording new music. Got to work with Phil Taylor of Machina. Talked about hanging out with John and Rocky from Ev, and possibly doing some shows together. Then BAM!!! 3 days after we wrap recording, John and Rocky are fired from Ev, and my loyalty is torn in two. Completely sucked. In any case, the music turned out great and cant wait to go back to complete the full album. Im heading back to St. Louis this Thursday, and while it's music related, it's not MY music... Im going to witness this kick off of Family Values. Im so psyched! Then two days later I go back to Chicago to catch the show again! How cool is that? Or obsessive? Take your pick. haha. In any case, Im uber-excited and cant wait to see some old friends from the last tour and meet some new faces as well. Should be fun.

    I was on Sherridan Road, riiiiight before it turns into Lake Shore Drive, entering the downtown area. It's Tuesday, and the streets were pleasantly empty. My heaven is a mostly adandoned Earth, with just enough people for me to meet for coffee somewhere. Oh, and there should also be some people who'd make the coffee.

    Anyway, this Hispanic guy and his bat-browed girlfriend pull up next to me at a stoplight, and he rolls down his window, and says, "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?"

    There hadn't been any cars on the road for me to piss off, or pass, or crowd. Like I said, empty. And he appeared out of nowhere. And, just as quickly, he sped up LSD and disappeared.

    I hope he wasn't a time traveler. Hmmmmm.
