• Farewell and Goodbye

  Hello all...and goodbye too.

  This is it; by the end of this week many of us will no longer be apart of this club. It's really sad but I don't ever regret it. When I first joined I looked at all the names of the new members on the bottom of the main page. It displayed the words in coloured coordination, "Member is you, member is Local to you, and Member is you friend." When I first came here, I had all the same colours. I looked at the names and felt a sadness overcome me that I knew no one, it was like moving away and the feeling of starting in a new place was both new and exciting. I never would have thought that after a year many of those names would be lit up in a different colour, or that I would memorize names of the different and varied screen names that everyone had.

  That is exactly what happened over the last year, not only that but I got to meet some amazing people. When I say amazing, I really mean it. I got to meet people from all over the place too; I mean how cool is that. Even more so I went to concerts with some and those who I never got the chance to meet I became really good friends with. I hope that someday I get to meet them. For the New Yorkers and UKer's that might be all in due time. I don't regret joining this club, and if I got the chance to go back I would do it all over again. The endless postwhoring got me some new friends, the late nights in EvChat did the same and nothing could ever make me regret some of the best times I've had with these fine folks.

  Through the drama, the jokes, and the chat bar even! I just can't say how thankful I am to have gotten to know you all. I will miss you and to most that feeling will be short lived. Some of us talk on a daily basis now and club was the key to that all. When I started in this club I paid 30 dollars for a membership so I could get an autograph from Amy, my 30 dollars turned into more than just a picture with a signature on it. It became much more to me. Through it's ups and downs nothing could ever make me want to take this year back, ever.

  Alas with all this said my time here is coming to an end. I didn't think I would feel so sad but now that it's finally happening I really do. Most of all, I'm going to miss my friends on here. Words could not express how thankful I am to have gotten to know you all. If I don't ever talk to some of you again, take care and I wish you luck in all your endeavors in life. To those I have contacts with elsewhere; I can't wait to talk to you again and soon! All in all after renewals this club will never be the same. That doesn't mean in a bad way but in fact I think those who leave will leave their place here but the new members who come will continue and build upon what we leave behind.

  This is it, my last blog. I never was a good blogger but thanks for you guys pushing me to make them. I got to share and read a lot of neato things from you guys and you have been an inspiration to me in a thousand different ways. Again, if you're on EvThreads you can pm me, StarryForest. I hope I get to talk to you there if anything or well you guys know all the other places so it's not like I'm going awol forever ;) Anyway, thanks my dear friends...for everything! Thank you moderators for keeping this place a golden retreat of minimal havoc and rare chaos, and last but not least thank you EvClub, you've done good for both the band members and their fans alike, that's it's own gift.

• Counting down the days

  Not counting down the days really. Just wondering when I'll try loggin in her only to find out that my account is no longer active. This isn't a new decision but for those of you who don't know I wont be renewing my EvClub membership.

  I have had so many memories here with you all and I don't regret any of them. I've gotten to know a lot of you very well and you are all such awesome people. The time we had together, on the boards and in chat, will not be forgotten on my part and I hope to keep in contact with each and every one of you.

  My new board will probably be EvThreads, I have to get used to it first. The threads go too fast and the organization of it all is confusing. There's just too much to read it all but be that as it may that has always been our little home away from home. I registered today with a new account, I was getting a lot of freaky private messages on there so I had to drop the old account. The new one is "StarryForest" on EvThreads. So if you guys ever want to keep in touch there's the place to do it. I'll be there for as long as it exists. Well maybe not that long, lol. I still hope to see you guys on there though and maybe I'll snag a screenname one day and suprise ya'll, who knows. With all that said I hope you all have a great life, to those who will be renewing cheers to the new board and I hope it meets all your expectations, and those of you I have contacts elsewhere are you guys ready to partay! (yes it's 2 am here)

  Well this isn't the farwell blog that you might be expecting, just more of a hey nice to know sort of deal. So I'll have to blog whore some more before I'm permabanned for the realm of EvClub. Oh and for the record, if that bastard Terry ever posts I'll kick him in the ball sack...goes into EvChat and I'll cut 'em off evil laugh Kidding, not that extreme but pretty close. Just thinkg of something of the less physical approach.
