Happy Halloween to everyone, I hope you guys have a fun time tonight.
I don't think I'm gonna be doing much with everything thats been going on. My grandpa's birthday was yesterday and I'm just not in the spirit this year. We haven't even put up any decorations yet, so this one is going to be pretty lame. I actually forgot it was Halloween until I saw Sherry's blog this morning XD.
Well happy trick or treating to everyone who is going.

When we got back from Palm Springs my dad called and asked me if I wanted to go visit my grandpa in the hospital. I said yes and he said he asked because he thought I should have the choice whether or not to see him, but I think its just because it might be the last time I'll be able to see him...He came over to pick me up and told me that my grandpa was getting worse, now he has an infection. He was saying how before the surgery he was perfectly healthy how he gave my dad a kiss on the cheek two days ago...and now he can't talk, he can barely even move.
We left to go to the hospital and when we got there my grandpa was in isolation and I had to put on a hospital gown over my clothes, gloves, and a mask because of his infection. I started crying right when I saw him, he looked so different, nothing at all like my grandpa. He had a tube in his throat so he couldn't speak, he was really thin and his skin and eyes were yellow. When I went in I said hi and he grabbed my hand. My dad asked if he remembered me and he nodded yes. My grandpa was just staring at me and squeezing my hand the whole time while my dad was talking to him. I tried to stop but I couldn't help crying. My grandpa squeezed my hand to let me know he was alright which just made me cry even more and then I saw him trying to wipe his eyes. There were tears in his eyes, my grandpa had started crying...that about just broke my heart right there. He kept squeezing my hand and started opening and closing his mouth and my dad said he was blowing me kisses--god I'm crying just thinking about it. We could only stay in for 10 minutes so we had to leave and my dad was saying how proud he was of him and that he was so strong and he winked at us. Even as bad as he was he still didn't want anyone to be worried about him. I couldn't believe it.
I didn't expect him to be that bad. Its not fair, this shouldn't have happened to him. If he doesn't get better in the next couple days then we're going to have to make some decisions...even if he does manage to get well then he won't be able to walk for at least 3 months.
He's just in so much pain but I don't want him to go yet.
Like my dad said we need a miracle.
