I have gotten a 2nd opinion on his disability.I remembered saying that if his chiari gets worse that he would be very weak and he wouldn't be able to walk .Well I asked his doctor and his doctor said "no" and I was so happy.The only thing I would have to worry about if his shunt starts to malfunction or if it gets infected that he would have to have another surgery.He needs to have another MRI done just to check how his shunt is doing.When they do that they have to put him to sleep because he can't stay still.I just hope to see him walk and to be able to do the things that other childern do and I know that will happen one day and it takes one day at a time.I always wonder how his future would be when he is older and I would ask the doctors and they would tell me that they don't know how he is going to be in 2 or more years.I remember talking to this lady that has a child that is disabled and I told her about about how he would be in the near future and she told me to just think about now and know that he is smiling and crawling and giggling and that hit me and I said that's true.Like I would say to you guys always think about now and not the future because you never know how it would be in the near future.Always spent time with your loved ones and cherish them and love them and be their for them when it bad or good.
